One of my favorite brunches in town, in an intimate 50s inspired set somewhere between a grocery shop and a doll house, La Réclame will surprise you with home-made grandma-style recipes using regional products such as the “florins“, warm little round breads stamped with a seal and served with butter, jam and praliné spread… hungry already? keep reading! Schwartz’s Deli is one of the first NYC Delicatessen established in Paris in 2009, with 3 adresses all serving cheesecakes, milk-shakes and pastrami. Open last June, Formaticus operates as a restaurant and a grocery shop dedicated to cheese and I absolutely love it! If you’re not a big cheese fan, don’t even bother reading this post. For the others, make sure you don’t miss out on this place! You think you know cheese? you think you’ve had good cheese plates in the past? Forget all of it and run to Formaticus where hundreds of cheese sorts, straight from the producers, await to be discovered.
The Italian journey continues for the Big Mamma group with the addition of a new address in the 9th quarter of Paris, Pink Mamma, specializing in the art of BBQ (T bone steak 24€, Large Entrecote 27€…). Of course Pizze, Pasta and the now renowned delicacies are still on the menu as well! Continue reading “Pink Mamma, Paris”
